Description: This historical monument located on the west side of Highway 90 commemorates Fort Huachuca. It was erected in 1957 by the Arizona Society Daughters of American Revolution.
Fort Huachuca was established in 1877 during the Indian Wars. The fort plays an important part in the history of Huachuca City because of its close proximity to the town and the fact that many of its past and present residents were connected to the fort in some capacity.
